GFNCA’s initial efforts focused on environmental health, pedestrian and vehicular safety, improved infrastructure, and community building, in addition to staying abreast of plans to redevelop Wheaton and the greater Glenmont area.  In 2022, we became stewards of the new Glenmont Forest Neighborhood Park.  We are now able to integrate more arts and humanities into the community to enhance residents' quality of life.  We proudly present the Gathering Tree sculpture and ground mural public art in the park.
